Students are able to apply for admission to the University starting July 1 following their junior year. Admission decisions at EU are reached using a combination of your official high school records, SAT/ACT test scores and choice of major. Some EU majors have contracted admissions standards requiring higher minimum GPA and/or test scores, along with a more thorough look at the applicant’s high school transcript. Once your completed application has been received and reviewed, a formal letter from the Admissions Office will notify you of your status.

• Be sure SAT/ACT are sent (if required). Each applicant for admission should complete either the SAT or the ACT. Students may request to have their SAT or ACT scores sent directly to Edinboro University. When registering for either exam, please use the following codes:

• Send us your high school transcripts: You must request an official high school transcript from your guidance counselor and have it forwarded directly from the high school to the Edinboro University Admissions Office. Students who received a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) must forward their score report and an official high school transcript, up to the point of withdrawal, to the Edinboro University Admissions Office.
• Edinboro University awards college credit for some Advanced Placement (AP) exams.
