Nursing program

  • Missouri Valley College nursing major (BSN) educates and also trains pupils in providing safe, evidence-based, and also compassionate nursing care to multiple clients in varied settings. The program lays the basis for delivering nursing care to persons, families, and also diverse populations. Students gain nursing experience in various clinical settings, for example, local community hospitals, tertiary care centers, as well as other community health facilities/agencies.
  • For the 4-years course, all new students will stick to the 2 + 2 Training program Curriculum.
  • The Missouri Valley College nursing training program, leading to a BSN RN degree, demands students to complete 2-years of prerequisite and also core courses as well as apply for the training program in the spring semester of the sophomore pre-nursing year. Pupils applying to the training program are assessed on their ACT, TEAS, and TOEFL scores, GPA’s, and also letters of reference.
  • Completion of the BSN training program does not assure licensure or even eligibility to sit and take the NCLEX licensure examination. Students will need to evaluate the regulations regarding the eligibility to sit for the exam before the testing date.
