Nursing Program
The Associate Degree Nursing Program at Walla Walla Community College (WWCC) is endorsed by the Washington State Nursing Care Quality Assurance Commission. The Associate Degree Nursing Program is also certified by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), initially referred to as the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC).
Graduates are qualified to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) for Registered Nursing. Upon successful completion, they are licensed as Registered Nurses (RN). Graduates are ready to take care of patients in hospitals, doctors’ offices, long-term care facilities and clinics.

Walla Walla Community College (WWCC) is a multi-campus community college situated in Washington state, United States. It is most lately the co-winner of the 2013 and also 2014 Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence. It had been rated in the top 5 best community colleges by the Aspen Institute in 2011 earlier.
Walla Walla Community College started in 1967 when the territory saw a need for a community college. It was initially housed in the educational structure on Park St. formerly occupied by Walla Walla High School before that institution relocated to its present facility south of town.
When Walla Walla Community College became too large for this site, it bought land to the east of town close to the airport and constructed its present facilities there. Eventually, an outlet campus was developed in Clarkston, Washington, 100 miles to the east as well.

- BIOL& 260, Microbiology
- CHEM& 110, Chemical Concepts w/lab
- ENGL& 101, English Composition I
- MATH& 146, Intro to Statistics (Statistics course number MUST have a MATH prefix)
- NUTR& 101, Nutrition
- PSYC& 100, General Psychology
- PSYC& 200, Lifespan Psychology
- Show evidence of Nursing Assistant Certification or proof of passing the state exam for Nursing Assistants.
- Completion of the ATI TEAS test MUST be completed PRIOR to admission
