Nursing Program

The philosophy, objective, and outcomes of the nursing training program mirror those of the parent institution, Copiah-Lincoln Community College. The Section of Associate Degree Nursing is built to improve the overall objective of the college by providing educational opportunities to eligible pupils for a career in nursing.

Graduates of the training program are prepared to work at entry-level positions as providers of care, managers of care, and associates within the field of nursing. The Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) training program is certified by the Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning of Mississippi along with the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing.

Graduates from the nursing training program are qualified to take and write the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN).
