Jacksonville State University Nursing Program

Jacksonville State University Nursing Program and Health Sciences offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, which enables graduates to apply to take the national exam for registered nurses (RN) licensure examination. Students begin the nursing program by completing the required prerequisite courses; a separate application is filed to request admission into the clinical portion (upper division) of nursing.

Nursing students are admitted to the upper division of nursing in the spring and fall every year. Those seeking admission to nursing program must contact the Director of Student Services at the College of Nursing and Health Sciences at least 90 days prior to date of entry to establish records for acceptance and complete the application process.
